ONE’s tree at the Christmas Tree Festival
Posted: 3 December 2024
ONE is delighted to once again be taking part in the Christmas Tree Festival at Worcester Cathedral, which opens to visitors on Thursday 5 December 2024.
We are proud to have this opportunity to participate in Worcester Cathedral’s annual display, which is a great event to meet family and friends.
Our tree aims to celebrate the festive spirit by bringing joy to people while championing great design, innovation and sustainable practices. We hope you enjoy the interactive element of spotting iconic buildings, environments and landmarks in the UK and around the world.
You can find out more about the inspiration for our tree below:
Design: We are passionate about creative and innovative design, which we believe can inspire generations. The decorations celebrate iconic buildings, environments and landmarks in the UK and across the world.
Innovation: The sparkling lights symbolise the spark of innovation that illuminates our approach to design and creativity. We also pride ourselves on our use of digital technology to add value to our clients and we have 3D printed the decorations in our Worcester office.
Sustainability: At ONE we champion sustainable design. The 3D printing uses Polylactic Acid (PLA) filament which is environmentally friendly being derived from natural, renewable resources such as cornstarch and sugarcane. PLA has a lower carbon footprint, does not emit harmful fumes when printed, can biodegrade or has the potential for recycling. We have also reused our tree from last year, as well as some of our homemade bamboo star decorations, which our team enjoyed making with their families.
