ONE’s Christmas and New Year message from Managing Director, Matt Tebbatt

I feel very privileged to be able to once again say, wow – what a year!

In 2023 we have had fantastic new projects getting underway, great schemes progressing through planning and on site, as well as completing some incredible buildings and environments. I’d like to take the opportunity to thank our wonderful clients, who we have collaborated with over the last 12 months to create designs that we can all be truly proud of. We know our team is our greatest asset and I am thrilled with what every member of ONE has accomplished this year for our clients.

It has also been a year of significant growth for our company. We have a larger presence in Birmingham, having moved to The Bank in the Jewellery Quarter, our workforce has grown by around a third and in July we were delighted to welcome three exceptional long-serving members of the team onto the Board. The seven directors continue to drive the company to achieve our vision: Creating a better world through design, sustainability and innovation, which ensures we continue to delight our clients while also embodying our commitment to ESG/Social Value.

We are now carbon neutral and remain committed in our journey to Net Zero. Significant energy efficiency works at our HQ are complete, which will provide a significant reduction in our carbon emissions while providing our team with sustainable travel choices. We have helped numerous clients with their Net Zero aspirations as well as continuing to support a range of charities and community schemes.

We have once again won several awards and we really appreciate this recognition. Our focus remains on delivering for our clients as well as innovating to address industry challenges and we were proud to launch ONE Engage this year.
