IStructE award win for ONE’s Structural Engineering Team

ONE Creative environments (ONE) won the Industrial category at the IStructE Midlands awards last week (11 November 2021).

The awards, which recognise notable structural design or construction achievements, took place at the International Convention Centre, Birmingham. ONE’s structural engineers received the accolade for their design solution for Princes Foods’ Warehouse and Processing Facility having previously won the Healthcare Structures category with the £33m Birmingham Dental Hospital scheme.

Gavin Vickers, Technical Director at ONE, said: “We are thrilled to have won this respected industry award and to receive such recognition from our peers.”

“We have a proven track record in the commercial/industrial sector and have delivered many new buildings and large scale extensions for our clients. This major two-year project for Princes Food had many significant considerations during delivery, such as seasonal operation and siting below sea level, and is a fantastic facility which is now complete. Congratulations to all of the finalists and award winners.”
