Droitwich Spa Lido Consultation

ONE’s proposed designs for the new and refurbished Droitwich Spa Lido are ready for your views.
ONE have been working with Droitwich Spa Place Board, Wychavon Leisure and Gleeds to come up with a few different options to enhance the site, you can find them here.
The preferred option includes;
- A enhanced and safer entrance from Worcester Road, including a dedicated footpath to the lido.
- Wing extensions connecting the existing cafe building with the Art Deco building which will be brought back into use.
- Replacing the existing cafe building with a brine pool, spa and leisure facilities.
- A new cafe at the south end of the site for users of the lido and Lido Park.
- Upgrades to the appearance of the area surrounding the lido pool.
- Extending the lido grounds to include a new family-friendly swimming area. The current free water play area would be relocated to elsewhere in Lido Park to make room for this.
The plans aim to create an enhanced experience that will make the lido more sustainable and put Droitwich Spa on the map as a leisure, health and wellbeing destination.
