ONE are back in the Falklands!

Posted: 15 October 2024

Craig, Nicoletta and Dan from ONE have arrived in the Falklands!

ONE have worked in the Falklands for more than 8 years now. The team have gone out to see how Tussac House is progressing as it nears completion and our BIM team will be assisting the Future Maintance team, with an asset capture for their CAFM software and future maintenance programme.

Craig Walding, Director at ONE said; “Servicing our current projects and our long standing client Falkland Islands Government , I’ve arrived back in the City of Stanley, with some of our team at ONE Creative environments, on a beautifully calm and clear spring evening last night. I have to say, I’m not sure I’ve seen things so clearly from the air in all my time of travelling here over the years!

A quick evening tour on arrival took in a glimpse of Tussac House, a flagship project for the islands (designed by ONE), which was looking fantastic in the evening sunlight as it nears completion. As well as supporting the project as it steams its way towards handover, our Digital Estates and BIM team will be assisting the future FM team, Martyn Barlow and all at KEMH, with an asset capture for their CAFM software and future maintenance programme. There was even time to share the landscape at Gypsy Cove and Yorke Bay, see if you can spot any renowned, local wildlife?! It’s looking like a lovely morning today too, looking out over the harbour on my early morning stroll.

Always a pleasure to be back working in the Falkland Islands and I am very much looking forward to re-engaging with my colleagues Falkland Islands Government and other local organisations whilst I am here, to service our commissions and generally ‘catch up’ with some old friends”.
