Joel Pearson: ONE’s Technical Director – Mechanical Engineering

ONE has welcomed Joel Pearson as their new Technical Director for Mechanical Engineering.

This is a new position, as the company continues to grow, and is part of ONE’s expansion plans for their well-established and award-winning engineering team.

Joel has extensive experience and has been heavily involved with the design of both new build and refurbishment projects from tender stage right through to completion. This includes large prestigious projects with robust design solutions being key to their success.

Working across sectors, Joel has worked extensively in the retail sector with some of the UK’s largest retailers: Waitrose, Marks and Spencer and Debenhams and has delivered numerous flagship stores for Primark and John Lewis over the past 15 years. Joel also has experience in other sectors including: leisure, residential, healthcare, education, public buildings and commercial/industrial.

Key skills include overseeing the design process, resourcing as well as effectively evaluating project risk. Sustainability is central to ONE’s vision and as a Low Carbon Consultant, Joel can enable clients to realise their sustainability goals.
